Carl Palmer

Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy

Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy will embark on its 9th North American tour: Remembering Keith and the Music of Emerson, Lake & Palmer!

Originally planned as a celebration of Palmer’s 50th year in music, he had initially invited Keith Emerson to participate; now, it will be a tribute to him.

Palmer, who was voted by ROLLING STONE as one of the 10 Greatest Drummers of All Time, is also a founding member of ASIA. Since he began in the business in the 1960s Carl Palmer has sold over 50 million records! He has  worked with Atomic Rooster; The Crazy World of Arthur Brown; Emerson Lake & Palmer and ASIA.

Since 2001, Carl has fronted a 3 piece power trio: guitar, bass & drums doing the classically driven rock hits of ELP with NO KEYBOARDS.

He has totally reinvented the music of ELP with this trio, which tours regularly around the world (including 5 hugely successful North & South American tours).  If you can imagine, ELP with Steve Vai or Joe Satriani in the band instead of Keith Emerson, that is sort of what it is about.

Melissa Etheridge

Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. For several years, her popularity grew around such memorable originals as "Bring Me Some Water," "No Souvenirs" and "Ain't It Heavy," for which she won a Grammy® in 1992. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993). The collection featured the massive hits, "I'm the Only One" and "Come to My Window," a searing song of longing that brought Etheridge her second Grammy® Award for Best Female Rock Performance. In 1995, Etheridge issued her highest charting album, Your Little Secret, which was distinguished by the hit single, "I Want to Come Over." Her astounding success that year led to Etheridge receiving the Songwriter of the Year honor at the ASCAP Pop Awards in 1996. Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades. In February 2007, Melissa Etheridge celebrated a career milestone with a victory in the “Best Song” category at the Academy® Awards for “I Need to Wake Up,” written for the Al Gore documentary on global warming, An Inconvenient Truth. As a performer and songwriter, Etheridge has shown herself to be an artist who has never allowed “inconvenient truths” to keep her down. Earlier in her recording career, Etheridge acknowledged her sexual orientation when it was considered less than prudent to do so. In October 2004, Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer, a health battle that, with her typical tenacity, she won. Despite losing her hair from chemotherapy, Etheridge appeared on the 2005 Grammy® telecast to sing “Piece of My Heart” in tribute to Janis Joplin. By doing so she gave hope to many women afflicted with the disease. Most recently, she released her latest album This Is M.E. in September 2014, which features singles Take My Number, A Little Bit of Me, and Monster.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo

South African Vocalists Ladysmith Black Mambazo represent the traditional culture of South Africa.

It has been almost twenty years since Paul Simon made his initial trip to South Africa and met Joseph Shabalala, and the other members of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, in a recording studio in Johannesburg. Having listened to a cassette of their music sent by a DJ based in Los Angeles, Simon was captivated by the stirring sound of bass, alto and tenor harmonies. Simon incorporated the traditional sounds of black South Africa into the "Graceland" album, a project regarded by many as seminal to today's explosive interest in World Music.

Dead on Live

Dead On Live celebrates the life and music of the Grateful Dead’s spiritual leader Jerry Garcia, by presenting an evening of music that digs deep into his incredible, stylistically-diverse career. From his bluegrass roots, psychedelic 60s, to his amazing artistic development of the 70’s, both as a songwriter and musician, DOL pays tribute to his legacy, taking you on a sonic journey that faithfully recreates the touch and tone, the heart and soul of this American music icon.

Based on their unique approach of note for note renditions, Dead On Live has become nationally recognized as one of the standout acts on the scene today paying tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead. DOL shows have featured specific records of specific eras, performing “Workingman’s Dead” and “American Beauty”, the 71-72 era with songs from “Skull and Roses” and the iconic “Europe 72”, the 73-74 show with selections from “Wake of The Flood” and “Mars Hotel”, and their epic Halloween Wall of Sound show. DOL recently presented their most ambitious project, Terrapin Station as released in 1977, note for note in its entirety featuring the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra.

For this special Jerry birthday presentation, Marc Muller and his cast of world-class musicians remain true to the music by not only performing classic album covers, but by opening the music up to free improvisation and musical exploration, as originally intended! DOL guarantees plenty of good old Jerry Jams that will be sure to get the kids up to dance and shake their bones. You’ll hear solo gems from 1971’s “Garcia”, funky RnB of 1973’s “Live at the Keystone”, reggae soul of 75’s “Reflections”, as well as plenty of Dead favorites through their 30-year journey, all making for a special night at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater celebrating the life and music of Jerry Garcia.

Come relive the magic with Dead On Live.

To Hell and Black

To Hell and Black - The AC/DC Tribute

A world-class reincarnation of the ultimate come-back album in Rock history, AC/DC's Back in Black, along with a set of songs that featured the band's original frontman: the legendary Bon Scott.

This show is the only one of its kind in that it features TWO lead singers, each one capturing the essence of Bon Scott or Brian Johnson and backed by world class musicians. Not your ordinary tribute band or celebrity impersonators, To Hell and Black is a multimedia rock show that recreates classic albums with intense musical detail.

The death of Bon Scott and his replacement by Brian Johnson were pivotal moments in rock history. This show takes the audience through those turbulent events while never losing sight of the fact that at its core, rock and roll is about having a good time.

Denny Blake - Lead Vocals

Denny sings and plays guitar in many different styles. He has performed with Billy Joel, Helix, and Tommy James among others. Having performed in several Broadway shows, he was fortunate to land a job in Movin’ Out (Broadway and First National Tour) where he met Greg and Mike. He is totally psyched to forge this project with his old bandmates and looks forward to many fun and rocking adventures with “Tohellandblack”!

Pete Cintorino - Lead Vocals

Peter has been singing since the age of fourteen and has been a full time entertainer for the past 28 years. He has accumulated literally thousands of performances during that time including outdoor festivals, concerts, weddings, corporate events and more. Peter studied voice with highly acclaimed teachers Katey Agresta (Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Metallica) and Gerry Jensen (Phebe Snow). In 2002 he recorded a dance version of Journey's "Who's Crying Now?" with KARMADELIC that climbed to # 22 on Billboard’s dance charts. Peter has done tours up and down the east coast and has sung the National Anthem at major sporting events and Political fundraisers.

Angus Clark - Lead Guitars

Angus has been a lead guitarist for the platinum selling and Grammy nominated Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the last fourteen years. He has also worked with members of Overkill, Metal Church, Queensryche, Yes, The Eagles, Bad Company, Queen and KMFDM. His versatility has allowed him to perform with new age artist Kitaro and as a regular understudy in the Broadway hit ROCK OF AGES.

Jeff Lubin- Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

An accomplished lead-vocalist, Jeff was the front-man for 80's "hair band" BIG BANG. As a singer/songwriter, he wrote the theme song ("Shine"), and was musical-director for CBS's American Idol Latin spinoff TV show, the "Nueva Estrella Awards". He has also written music for multi-platinum recording artist, Michalis Hatzigiannis (Universal- Greece).

Greg Smith - Bass and Vocals

Greg is currently the Bassist / Vocalist for Ted Nugent. Greg has also been the bassist, and backing vocals for such artists as Billy Joel, Alice Cooper, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Alan Parsons Project, Crystal Bowersox, Blue Oyster Cult, Dokken, Graham Bonnett, Over the Rainbow, Tommy James & the Shondells, The Turtles, Chuck Negron, Felix Cavaliere, Mitch Ryder, Denny Laine, Joey Molland, Vinnie Moore, Joe Lynn Turner, Van Helsing's Curse, O2'L and Wendy O. Williams. Greg was also the principal bassist and backing vocals for the Tony Award winning Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp musical "Movin Out" for it's entire 3 year run on Broadway and 1 year on the road.

Mike Sorrentino - Drums

Mike has recorded or toured with many acts over the years including Richie Blackmore, Joe Lynn Turner, Michael DelGuidice and Big Shot, and many more. A veteran on the Broadway scene, Mike was the principle drummer on the first national tour of Movin' Out in addition to subbing on the original Broadway production where he met Greg Smith and Denny Blake. Between the live dates Mike stays very busy in his studio playing, producing and engineering tracks for recording artists.
